Award 'UNESCO Artists for Peace  2005/2006'

Thanks to the personal initiative and engagement of Roselyne Crausaz, former councillor of state and president of 'Fondation Paix 21', the Brenz Band was awarded the honorary title 'Artistes pour la Paix de l’UNESCO 2005/2006'. It was the 3rd February 2005, when a delegation of 'Fondation Paix 21' and the Brenz Band were welcomed by the Unesco General Secretary  Koïchiro Matsuura in the International UNESCO Headquarter in Paris and the musicians – in a touching ceremony, accompanied by their own music – received this wonderful and sustainable diplome. The ambassadors of Switzerland and Germany were also present.

The Brenz Band has also been nominated as ambassadors for peace for 'Fondation Paix 21'.
